I don't know if you have ever done a word study on "grace" but the Bible has much to say on the subject. According to biblegateway.com, there are 159 references to "grace" in the Bible (KJV). Thirty-seven of them are  from the Old Testament and the remainder are from the New Testament. God has always been a God of grace. He never changes. His ways of dealing with man have changed, according to covenant. We who are born again and live under the New Covenant have had true grace revealed to us in the person of Jesus Christ. The Word says that he is "full of grace and truth." In Jesus, the grace of God has been fully revealed. His goodness has been fully revealed. His love for us has been fully revealed. And the covenant keeping does not even depend upon us...Jesus is the covenant keeper! Thank you Lord!
