One of the best books I've ever read is "The War is Over" by Andrew Wommack. I would say the overriding message in the book is that God is not mad at you. So many people go around with the attitude that God is up there just waiting for them to screw up, and that He is waiting to punish them. This is one of the greatest lies, even in the churches today. He also talks about how "Jesus paid for ALL sin." That includes the sin of the whole world; people who have not yet come to Jesus. He talks about the fact that nobody will go to hell because of their sin. They will only go to hell for not accepting the payment for their sin. Jesus paid for all of it. His payment was more than enough!
